Chapter 1. It's just the beginning.
Hi everyone.
Once upon a long time ago I started a blog and to make a not so long story even shorter than it already is, I didn't post to it that often. So here I am "re-opening" my blog hoping that I'll keep up with it more. But I wanted to have a fresh start, so I deleted all my old post (sorry). SO ... in honor of giving my blog a new image let me go ahead and say what I hope to make my blog about.
If you read my old blog, you know I love taking pictures. So I would like to make this a space where I share my pictures with the world.
I mainly take portraits of my friends and family so that is probably what you will be seeing more of. So I hope you enjoy seeing some of my pictures!!
So I'm going to go ahead and share some of my images with you! Why not?!
This was a fun photo shoot my best friend Shelby and I did together. We wanted to try doing a photo shoot a little more artsy so we used a photography light and played around with some cool poses.
In these images we still used the same photography light. But when it came to editing the pictures I couldn't resist making them black and white, because who doesn't love a good black and white picture?!
These shots were for sure a lot of fun! They were from the same artsy photoshoot Shelby and I did, but for these images we covered our faces with paint. Shelby went for a crying colorful tears look.
As for myself, well, I went for something a little more abstract. I couldn't decide if I looked like an over-excited artist, or a kindergarten teacher who just let her students use her face as a canvas. Either way it was still super fun!
That's all the pictures I'll share for now. But until next time I hope you enjoyed seeing some my work so far.
*the last two pictures of myself were taken by Shelby Roets.
