Time for a Change.
"The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance" -Alan Watts.
My blog layout and design isn't the only thing that has been constantly changing! My life has been changing a lot to! Just recently I went on my first beach trip alone with my boyfriend! Just before that I moved into a "new" house. (it's not really a new house, its an old house that I spent a lot of my childhood in). But the biggest change in my life is yet to come and it's only a few months away!
...
I'm moving almost two hours away to go to school! In honor of this change in my life I wanted to share with you guys some of the pictures I took of the campus I will be attending!
For at least the next two-three years I will be spending my life in the wonderful city of Charlotte and attending UNCC. Just a few weeks ago my boyfriend and I went to tour campus with my sister in-law. She took us all around Campus showing us the best places to find food, study, and go to the gym! Of course the campus is so big that it was all a little overwhelming at times.
This change is going to be huge for me. Mainly because I'm going from a small town with little traffic and living with people who do my laundry for me when they notice that its piling up to a large city with a lot of traffic and living with a person who forgets to do laundry just as easily as I do.
And just a little fact about me. I don't like change to well. I like consistency. But change is inevitable and I can't run from it forever. So these next few months as I start apartment shopping, supplies shopping, and job shopping, I'm going to start embracing the change.
Change is scary. Especially when it involves your entire life. But sometimes the best way to deal with it is just to jump and take the risk. Instead of thinking about the negatives its time to start thinking about the positives. Stop worrying about what could go wrong and realize what could go right.
With that being said, I am excited to start a new life and study at UNCC. And I'm even more excited to share my journey with everyone!
I would also like to send my sister in-law Avery a huge shout out for walking around a hot campus that she already graduated from to give my boyfriend and me a tour.
#GoNiners!
-Until next time
Kay.
